Brian Greenway - Guitars & Vocals
Brian began his musical career playing in such bands as The Primitive, The Cheeque, All The Young Dudes and Mashmakhan. Brian’s main duties are guitar and backing vocals, but also contributes to the song writing with his songs like Before The Dawn, from the “Harder… Faster” album, which is always a crowd favorite at live performances, and Holiday and In Your World on the Back To The Mansion CD. Brian’s favorite guitar solo he has recorded is on Sign Of The Gypsy Queen from The Nature Of The Beast.
After April Wine broke up in 1986, Brian embarked on a solo career and recorded Serious Business, which continued the traditional April Wine mix of heavy rockers and ballads.
When the band got back together in 1992, Brian abandoned the solo career and rejoined to become a mainstay. His personable attitude and friendly demeanor have endeared him to all April Wine fans.
Richard Lanthier - Bass & Vocals
Active in the video games industry as a game designer, sound designer and audio post-production engineer in the early 2000, he later spent some time behind the scene, taking care of many technical aspects of major scale live music productions such as Gregory Charles, the Mondial Choral, Montreal International Jazz Festival and more. But Richard always kept performing live on stage, behind the bass, mainly with his Yes tribute act Close To The Edge who’s former lead singer was actually recruited by Yes in 2008 to replace Jon Anderson, or with Premier Ciel – L’héritage musical d’Harmonium show.
In 2010 he collaborated to the album One Among The Living from Montreal’s cutting edge prog-rock band Mystery. A few months later, in early 2011, Richard was totally honored and thrilled to accept April Wine’s invitation to join the band.
His main influences on bass include Chris Squire, John Wetton, John Entwistle and John Paul Jones.
Marc Parent - Guitars & Vocals
Marc also toured extensively across Quebec as guitarist and vocalist with French Canadian artists Breen Leboeuf, Luce Dufault and Marie Carmen. Since 1990 Marc has been playing the Quebec and Ontario blues scene with his band Wang Dang Doodle, who also have been the house band for the Mont Tremblant Blues Festival. Lately Marc has been working as a solo artist with his own show providing music for corporate and private events. And as of December of 2022 Marc has joined April Wine!

Roy Nichol - Drums & Vocals
Since then Roy has performed in several rock bands and tribute acts, even had an invitation to audition for the Rock of Ages Musical. In 1982 he moved to Calgary and played the mid 80s with the well known rock group Steeler. While in Calgary, Roy received a diploma for recording and engineering from Columbia Academy of Recording Arts. After moving back to Cornwall, Roy has been playing exclusively with SamHill since 1993. For a 2 year stint, some of the boys in SamHill became Raised On Radio, a tribute to Journey. Roy came out from behind the drums to be the lead vocalist and frontman with his uncanny vocal impersonation of Journey’s Steve Perry. SamHill still did many Journey tunes which shows how talented Roy really is, not only can he sing but play incredibly intricate Journey style drum parts at the same time. This group was constantly working and performing across Ontario, Quebec and the USA. In 2006, SamHill was fortunate enough to act as the house band for the contestants of TVs Rockstar Supernova when they came to Canada to perform.
Besides the new drumming job in April Wine, Roy has also been the head engineer at Dreambuilder Studios, a Pro Tools HD3 studio. Roy’s influences include John Bonham, Neil Peart, Steve Smith and Dean Castronovo.
