Interview with Myles Goodwyn. Likes to drive fast in his BMW. Loves iced
vodka. Loves to think about new baby (not born yet as of this interview).
Likes to play with his cocker spaniel "Marty". Talks about his approach
to songwriting. Wrote "Just Between You & Me" in 45 minutes. Myles
would like to find AW's "airy" sound again, like they had "...before we

around with "...jazz-funk ideas on brass insrtuments." Myles' mother died
when he was 12, his dad threw him out when he was 17. Forever For
Now is "April Wine's masterpiece", El Mocambo is "disappointing". Myles
takes refuge in his chalet in Ste Agathe to write. Basement recording studio
covered with posters of Pagliaro and Walter Rossi, gold and platinum records
are hung all around the house. Myles provides tips for young composers.
Myles has "strong family attachments" and hates to leave them behind. Myles
"...often wears a mask, like a shield against the flood of people I have
to deal with constantly. It's a shell that protects me, but it falls away
as soon as I'm with friends...".
